All proceeds for this release will be split between Black Lives Matter UK and Black Minds Matter, in solidarity with protestors across the globe calling for an end to institutional and systemic racism; and in full acknowledgement that house, techno, garage and many other forms of electronic music had their genesis with black artists who were not afraid to vocalise their trauma and imagine utopian futures into being through their art.

For our second compilation we welcome a number of new artists to Light Entries. Sample wizard DSSWAIN contributes some excellent uptempo house bombs, Magnetic North founder Lost Cat brings some deep dancehall influence, Poly D presents an emotive and lush piece of synth and drum work, and Peter Murch (aka Porter Brook) and Elin Radford round things off with a richly-textured piece of minimal psychedelia.

While dancefloors are off-limits for now, when we eventually emerge into the light we look forward to hearing these tracks loud and proud.

We recommend donating £7 for this release - more if you can afford it, and nothing if you can't.
